Ronceval is a young self -taught sculptor from the Stéphanoise region, from an artistic family, which pushed him from childhood to explore multiple areas such as drawing, painting, creation of jewelry and the foundry. Charmed by ceramics, he decides to specialize in this demanding medium, particularly appreciating his tactile and sensual character. The earth, noble and capricious matter, quickly becomes for him a privileged means of expression, allowing a subtle dialogue between technical mastery and the spontaneity of the creative gesture.

Currently, Ronceval's work is largely devoted to animal ceramics, where it mainly shapes majestic and powerful animal heads such as felines, rhinos and gorillas, presented such as trophies on raw wood bases. Its style is distinguished by a palette of sober colors, natural, obtained thanks to smoking techniques and metal oxide patinas. Committed to the animal cause, he hopes through his creations to sensitize the public to the protection of endangered species, symbolically preferring hunting sculpture.

In full artistic evolution, Ronceval continues to experiment and deepen his techniques, remaining open to all forms of discoveries and innovations in his earth work. Fascinated by the random and unpredictable effects allowed by smoking and metal oxides, it constantly perfects these processes in order to enrich its creations of subtle and unique nuances. His artistic approach is carried by a constant desire for improvement and a search for balance between master's degree and spontaneity, suggesting a future production rich in new products and originality. Well that he does not yet consider himself fully artist, his promising talent already opens the doors of galleries and announces a remarkable artistic future.
