Sandrine Schohn

Sandrine Schohn

Sandrine Schohn was born on November 21, 1971 in Saint-Raphaël.

From the age of 3 she mixes colors, works the materials, represents what she sees and transforms it in her own way. After studying in a Lycée d platique M.J.M in Nice, she works as a decorator Poly Stone Création in Fréjus then designer in an Axces free style office in Sainte-Maxime.

Night butterfly she paints far from any agitation when everyone sleeps.

Since 2006 has been known to the general public, at random from her meetings, she makes decoration for Ivana Trump summer 1998.

Inspired by Picasso, Buffet and Vargas, Sandrine paints the modern woman: rebellious, romantic, modest or even asshole, but always carrying an emotion on the face.

All these canvases reveal by a game of balance between a multitude of colors and transparency. Schohn paints her time and her life as she feels her, with her heart and her big eyes well open.

From 2023, Sandrine Schohn started a turning point in her artistic approach. After years exploring female emotion through the prism of color and transparency, she feels the need to deconstruct the real to reveal the invisible fragments.

This is how she turns to a new approach: like mosaic.

This precision work becomes for Sandrine a way of "fracturing reality" - not to break it, but to better understand the nuances, the interstices, the hidden truths. Where his paintings fed on fluidity and movement, his mosaics impose a new breathing: slower, more introspective, but just as vibrant.
